On April 17, 2021 workshop participants met by Zoom for an online workshop. Even though we couldn't meet in person, the spirit of Sharing Day was alive and well. Click the "read more link." The three presenters included Carmen So, Kimberly Hall, and, Marcus Fung.
The day began with Carmen's wonderful presentation about how to run a successful Covid-friendly choir for children over Zoom. Her exuberance and resourcefulness was enlightening. Kimberly Hall was the second presenter who gave an excellent run-down on all things Bucket Drumming. Her presentation serves as an excellent entry into the world of teaching Bucket Drumming. Our last presenter was Marcus Fung. His workshop featured many great ideas and approaches towards exploring freedom and creativity with words, rhyme, and, hip-hop. Sharing Day has always been more than just a workshop for Alberta Orff fans. It has also been a celebration of sorts and a confluence of hearts and minds. All three presenters showed how all of this is still possible in the time of Covid-19. Comments are closed.
