The Alberta Orff Chapter is excited to announce the creation of the new Diane Shieron Scholarship!
Diane Shieron has been involved in the Alberta Orff Chapter community since its inception as a teacher, board member, mentor and levels instructor through the University of Alberta. She is an Alberta Orff Chapter Honorary Lifetime Member, and as recognition for this achievement, the Alberta Orff Chapter is creating this scholarship in her name. Diane is passionate about encouraging professional development and mentorship for teachers at all stages of their teaching career as they grow, learn and inspire their students and their love of music. This scholarship will be available to current members of the Alberta Orff Chapter for financial assistance in attending post level 3 masterclass courses, Summer Orff Institute (Salzburg), COC National Conferences, AOSA National Conferences or local Alberta Orff Chapter workshops. This scholarship fund will exist through generous donations of any amount. All donations are greatly appreciated. Tax receipts are available for donations of $20 or more.
