THE JUDY SILLS Library of Music |
AboutThe Alberta Orff Chapter's library has a large and growing collection of quality music resources for members to borrow. The library was started with the very generous donation of Judy Sills and the library was named in her honour.
If you have any books you wish to see in our collection, have questions regarding resources, have resources you would like to donate, or if you are looking for suggestions of materials to meet your needs, please contact our librarian, or visit her at the next workshop or course. We are currently reviewing our library resources to ensure we are providing our members with materials that are relevant and appropriate. Please let us know if you notice pieces within a resource that is no longer appropriate, and use your discretion when selecting pieces from our resources. The document Songs with a Questionable Past is a great starting point to learn more about the history and context of a song. In order to help us with this review process, please ensure you have returned all overdue materials to our librarian before or at our next workshop. Please contact our librarian with questions about loaned materials. |
