On Wednesday, September 21, the Alberta Orff Chapter hosted a sold out make and take event at Crawford Plains School. The afternoon featured the creation of a ‘sub tub’ complete with several games for division 1 and 2 students that can be used when music teachers need a substitute teacher for the day. The centre games reinforce many concepts such as, rhythm, tempo and dynamics, and names of classroom and orchestra instruments. Students will enjoy rotating through a variety of activities, like card games, bingo, and even fishing for rhythms. Planning for a sub is now a cinch, thanks to our brand new ‘sub tub’. Thanks to the board members for all the prep work and planning they put in to another successful make and take. 1/26/2017 12:11:08 pm
Is there another session in this regard or can we find the session materials or ideas somewhere on this website to make for our classrooms?
