Alberta Chapter Orff Library

"Since the beginning of time, children have not liked to study. They would much rather play, and if you have their interests at heart, you will let them learn while they play; they will find that what they have mastered is child's play."
We are excited about our new library which is filled with creative and helpful Orff resources to help add musicality and fun to your classroom. Our library has been alphabetically organized according to musical category and can be viewed on line.
In order to access materials you must:
- be a member of the Alberta Orff Chapter;
- indicate desired Musical Category and Title (eg. “Australian Animal Rounds” – World Music);
- contact our librarian, Laurel Nikolai, by email at laureln@ualberta.ca
Resources may be collected at:
- the librarian’s home (please contact her directly as her address will not be posted on-line);
- at any Orff workshop;
- or, they can be mailed to you. However, you will be billed for the postage.
Materials can be signed out for up to 6 weeks and must be returned in the same condition that they were borrowed. You will be responsible for any lost or damaged items.
